Win two stunning chefs' knives and a chopping board worth £199!
Our friends at Flint and Flame have given us this beautiful two piece knife set to give away, as well as a great discount on the rest of their range. Chop chop!
What's the first thing you reach for when you start cooking? Chances are it's a kitchen knife. A dull, poor quality knife means more effort and is often more dangerous.
The prize: The Santoku two-piece bamboo set
The Santoku two-knife set comes in a bamboo case with the lid forming a small chopping board (pictured above). In it sits a 7.5” santoku knife which is the perfect size for everyday tasks, as well as a 5” santoku knife for finer work and vegetable prep.
Santoku is a Japanese style of knife, the name meaning ‘three virtues’, as they are said to chop, dice and mince. The small oval indentations you see on the blade are called ‘growls’; these help stop items like cheese and cold meats sticking to the blade, which needless to say is fiercely sharp.

But perhaps its most distinctive feature is the one you recognise when you pick the knife up and hold it in your hand. Once you start using these knives you understand what makes it different: the beautifully contoured ‘quad tang’ handle design that gives it that unique precision, balance and control.
