Tom Kerridge's berry and yogurt breakfast shake recipe

This thick, tasty shake is a drink British celebrity chef Tom Kerridge swears by for a post-workout pick-me-up – but it's equally delicious served up as a fruity breakfast treat. Just grab the ingredients, blend, and you're done!

Even better, it can be made with berries straight from the freezer.

"I’ll often have this shake when I want to refuel after morning exercise," says Tom. "By keeping a stash of berries in the freezer I can whiz it up in seconds, and avoid giving in to hunger cravings on the way back from the gym.

"The oats supply sustained energy while the yogurt provides protein to promote muscle recovery. And berries are a great source of vitamin C, which is also needed for muscle repair and helps to boost the immune system."

To make it vegan: Use coconut or almond milk instead of cow’s milk.
