Breakfast. The most important meal of the day, we think. That's why we're getting behind the Better Breakfast campaign, and offering you a great prize.
When you wake up you’ve not eaten or drunk anything for around 12 hours... so what do most people do? Grab a distinctly un-nutritious slice of white toast, or worse - skip breakfast altogether. Which is a shame as there’s a lot of evidence to suggest that eating breakfast improves mental and physical performance, and can help control our weight too. Indeed, it’s madness that people spend longer on their external appearance than their internal sustenance in the mornings.
The Better Breakfast campaign
Other big names lending their support to the campaign include healthy food and drink suppliers such as Love Smoothies, Rachel’s, Ocean Spray, New Zealand Honey Co, TOTAL Greek Yoghurt, Alara, Simply Nectar, Organic Burst, Yozuna, inSpiral, Growers Direct UK, British Lion Eggs, Vogel’s Bread and Rude Health. Finally you can’t enjoy a good breakfast unless you’ve had a really good night’s sleep, which leads us nicely on to our prize…
The prize

Finally PLEASE check your contact details
We’ve had situations in the past where people have old or unused email addresses saved with lovefood. This means that though they’ve been picked as the winner of one of our competitions, we’ve had to give the prize to someone else as they've not got back to us. So please take a second to log in (you need to do this to enter the competition anyway) click My settings at the top, and check that My email address is the one you use regularly.
