Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay's radical career change at seventeen, from footballer to chef, led to the awakening of an exceptional talent. He is now the holder of a glittering array of Michelin stars, and is at the head of a food empire with restaurants all over the globe from London to Melbourne. He has produced a series of bestselling cookbooks, published a hugely successful autobiography, Humble Pie, and starred in a number of globally successful television programmes, including the award-winning Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, The F Word and Cookalong Live. Scottish by birth, Gordon was brought up in England after his parents moved south to Stratford-Upon-Avon. In 2006, he was awarded an OBE for services to the hospitality industry.
