Whilst working professionally in London, Cornwall and various other locations across the UK, Suzy also spent many years cooking on a small Caribbean Island where food supplies were both short and unreliable. This is where Suzy became an expert in creative cooking and adapting recipes to making something out of nothing. As well as previously writing for ‘Vegetarian Living’, ‘Mensa’ and various local Cornish magazines, Suzy’s fist book ‘The Leftovers Handbook’ provides smart yet quirky ways of using up the 450 ingredients most likely to be left over in your kitchen cupboard, fridge and freezer. Whilst tackling waste, Suzy’s book offers inspirational ideas and delicious recipes.
