We round up some of January's best foodie events.

While the first half of January is bereft of food and drink events, as we all come round to the fact the Christmas holiday is over, things pick up in the second part of the month.

12-15 January
The Outdoors Show
What: This adventure sports show will have a FoodLovers Are with local and regional producers.

Burns Night cookery demonstration
What: TV chef Philippa James will be cooking Scottish dishes.

Love Food Weekend
What: Despite the name, this is not connected to our good selves – it’s a celebration of Welsh produce.
