The brightest star in British cooking, Marcus Wareing's modern, theatrical take on classic French cuisine has won him international acclaim and two Michelin stars. After working as Chef Patron of Pétrus for 9 years he now runs the restaurant under his own name as Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley. May 2011 will see Marcus open his second restaurant, The Gilbert Scott. The Gilbert Scott sees Marcus take on a different role, that of restaurant operator as he remains committed to his kitchen at Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley. The team at The Gilbert Scott will be led by his protégé, Chantelle Nicholson, who will be the General Manager. Representing all that one would expect of an elegant British brasserie and bar The Gilbert Scott will be open seven days a week, for lunch and dinner in the grand restaurant and all day dining in its unique bar. /
