The Gladwin Brothers
Richard, Gregory and Oliver Gladwin grew up at Nutbourne Vineyards in West Sussex. After they attended school, Gregory chose farming, Oliver became a chef and Richard went into hospitality. They noticed that these professions make a perfect food cycle so decided to go into business together and in October 2012, hand built The Shed in Notting Hill. Their focus is on nose to tail cooking, local produce and sustainability and within months the restaurant has amassed a huge following and critical acclaim.
The Shed restaurant is the embodiment of a philosophy of eating based on local sourcing, seasonality, sustainability and a distinct absence of pomposity. With The Shed: The Cookbook, the brothers aim to bring the spirit of the Shed into your home.
