Sweet treats: the best new snacks this week
If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll love these.
As autumn sets in, it's time to bring out the comforting snacks such as marshmallows, brownies and chocolates. These are our favourite new products to hit the market.
1. ElizabethDbakes vegan chocolate brownies
What is it? Offering a selection of bakes, from blondies and brownies to bars and loaves, ElizabethDbakes' specialise in vegan and gluten-free baking. The soft and indulgent cherry brownie, topped with a coconut milk-based ganache, is our favourite.
Why we love it? It's sweet and sticky but the glacé cherries add texture and help cut through the sweetness of the chocolate.
Where can I buy it? Available online or in Whole Foods and Yumbles for £16.50 as part of the six-piece Gluten-free Indulgence Brownies Selection box.
2. Mallow & Marsh marshmallow bars
What is it? Described as 'marshmallows with character' these fluffy treats come in three delightful flavours – raspberry, vanilla and coconut. They're available as a bar or in a pouch.
Why we love it? These are definitely the lightest, gooeyest mashmallows we've tried. Although all the flavour combinations work well, our favourite pairing is the coconut and dark chocolate (only available in a pouch).
Where can I buy it? Available online and in Starbucks, Waitrose, Whole Foods and more for around £1.35 individually or £18 for a case of 12 bars or £20.16 for a case of six pouches.
3. Mighty Fine honeycomb dips
Mighty Fine
What is it? Available in a range of delicious flavours, including dark chocolate and gingerbread, Mighty Fine's honeycomb is handmade with all-natural ingredients and English honey.
Why we love it? The salted caramel gets our vote – it has just the right amount of saltiness running through it and is beautifully soft in the center yet satisfyingly crunchy on the outside.
Where can I buy it? Get it online or in Waitrose for £3.00 per 90g pouch.
