Here she tells us about her love for fancy biscuits, her favourite piece of kitchen equipment, why the state of your butter is so important, and the best foodie jokes.
Recipes
Want to bake like Miranda? Here are a few of her best recipes...
Orange and cinnamon mince pies
Miranda adds the zest of an orange and a pinch of cinnamon to her mince pie recipe to make them all the more Christmassy. Make your own mincemeat using Miranda's recipe.
Christmas pudding biscuits
What could be prettier at Christmas than a plate of tiny puddings? The dough can be shaped and frozen a month in advance. This recipe makes at least 24 little Christmas puddings.
Cranberry cupcakes
This is a simple but delicious alternative to Christmas cake. They look pretty and very festive and are just perfect for entertaining at Christmas. They are great at tea-time and also fantastic for parties.
Chocolate bourbons
Intensely chocolatey and hugely addictive, these biscuits look gorgeously retro and have a nostalgic taste about them. I have friends who beg me to make bourbons, and I’m sure you will be inundated with requests too.
