Over 8,400 pictures were entered from 60 countries for the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2017 awards. And the judges have once again picked a stunning bunch of food and food-related photos to win the top prizes. Feast your eyes on these...

This year’s winner of the Cream of the Crop award was Wesley Dombrecht from Belgium for his photograph Smoked Mackerel.

Sally Ann Stone from the UK won the Food in the Field award for Swiss Chard Forest.

The winner of the Partridges Food for Sale award was Azalea Dalton from the UK, for her aerial photograph of Villefranche Market in France.

Robin Stewart, from the UK, won this year’s Startisans Food in the Street for his authentic portrayal of people eating food on the street in Crouch End, London.

Hein van Tonder from South Africa won this year’s Food Bloggers award, supported by Aspire, for his mouth-watering picture of pouring caramel.

Taken by Italian photographers Francesca Brambilla and Serena Serrani, The Grandmother won the award for Food in Action.

Robert Holmes from the USA won the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year (Produce) award for his photo Crush at Cristom Vineyard.

Meanwhile, Mick Rock from the UK took home the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year (People) award for his impressive Cleaning Port Barrel picture.

Patrick Desgraupes from France wowed judges so much with his photo The Rosé Wine Tank that he won three different awards. The image of a pink-splattered wine tank won Desgraupes the award for Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year (Places), as well as the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year Overall Winner 2017 and the FujiFilm Award for Innovation.

Carla Smend from the UK was the winner of the 10 and Under award for this creative arrangement of fruit, entitled Fruit of the Bloom.

Lily-Mae Franklin, also from the UK, won the 11-14 Years award for her picture Flowering Tea.

The winner of the 15-17 Years category was Felicia Frank from Germany for her photograph of a cow feeding on grass, entitled Muuuh.

The UK’s Darren Eastwood-Hickson won the award for Marks & Spencer Food Portraiture for his picture Salad Plate.

Kyriacos Arkatites from Cyprus won the Marks & Spencer Food Adventures award for this photograph of two children looking into a tank of fish, called Oua, Look at This One!

The winner of the award Food for the Family was Leonardo Salomão from Brazil for his intimate photograph of a family's mealtime entitled Breaktime.

Emma Brown from the UK won the World Food Programme Food for Life award for her photo Collecting Egg Rations, taken at Smara Refugee Camp in Algeria.

This mouth-watering photo, Mac & Cheese, was taken by Jean Cazals from the UK, who won the InterContinental London Park Lane Food at the Table award.

This close-up of some fresh root vegetables was taken by Jonathan Gregson from the UK, and won the Production Paradise Food off the Press award.

Laura Cook’s picture, Waiting for Stew, won the Food Sn-apping award, in aid of Action Against Hunger.

This emotive photograph was taken by Matthew Thomas from the UK, who won the Bring Home the Harvest award for the picture, titled Pheasants at Sunset.

This political picture, showing a group of hunters with their kill, was taken by Tom Parker from the UK and won the Politics of Food award.

Richard Perry, also from the UK, won the Pink Lady Apple a Day award with his ironic photo Keeps the Doctor Away.

The overall winner of the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2017 award, Food for God, was taken by Shoeb Faruquee from Bangladesh, who also won this year’s Food for Celebration Award.
