West Virginia's New River Gorge is one of the state's most prized wonders and Smokey's, part of the Adventures on the Gorge resort, sits right beside its rim. A leafy deck illuminated by fairy lights milks the gorgeous natural location, which is at its most magical come sunset. The no-fuss menu is filled with American classics like baby back ribs and burgers.
Wisconsin: Ishnala Supper Club, Lake Delton

This fine supper club is tucked away in a log cabin and its alfresco offerings are popular for good reason.
