A cute French-style bakery, Persephone is highly rated for its coffee, breakfasts, pastries, and, of course, cookies. The chocolate chip walnut cookie is particularly well-loved; made with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and toasted walnuts, it's decadently tasty. Customers also love the light sprinkling of sea salt across the top, which keeps things from getting cloyingly sweet.
