This rustic roadside eatery has been part of the Murdo landscape for 40 years, with new owners Chad and Heather Whitney taking over the restaurant in 2022. The joint focuses on grass-fed beef burgers and old-school shakes, and its cheeseburger officially became the best rated in South Dakota on Yelp in 2023. But if you want to keep it simple, Circle E Drive-In also offers a fantastic double hamburger, the DBL Burger, made with the very best local beef.
