Alan Wong (pictured second from right) takes the top spot as the world's wealthiest chef by a long shot, with a jaw-dropping estimated net worth of $1.1 billion. Wong, who cooked at the White House in 2009 for President Obama, owns several successful venues in both Hawaii and Japan. Restaurants aside, Wong's bank balance is further bolstered by appearances on shows such as Top Chef and a successful line of cookbooks.
