Why bake a regular sponge cake when you can make this delightfully summery rolled-up version instead? This British take on a classic Swiss roll is packed with jam, fruit, and cream – and though it takes a bit of baking skill and a steady hand to make, it's totally worth it. For a fancy flourish, take some double cream, a few strawberries, and some edible flowers along to the picnic with you, and scatter liberally over the top.
