In the present day, painstaking renovations are ensuring America's classic diners are preserved for posterity. Among them is Rosebud, dating back to the 1940s. The dining car has been pimped and polished, extra restaurant space added and the menu given some creative twists (think truffle fries and chicken and waffles with maple and black pepper gravy).
