An orange makes for a refreshing snack, but these well-loved citrus fruits are at risk across the globe. Citrus greening disease, or huanglongbing, has affected oranges in places including Florida, where it has caused a '72% decline in the production of oranges used for juice and other products' in the US over the last decade. The disease, which causes yellowing leaves, and eventually kills off the branches and roots of citrus trees, has also been detected in Bhutan, Brazil, China and elsewhere.
