The place offers few frills, but it doesn't matter when the food is this good. Winning menu items include the spicy feta dip and the chicken souvlaki – it comes with mountains of Greek fries or rice (your choice), plus tzatziki and pita. The Parthenon-inspired façade, with its columns and statues, is fun too.

The crispy zucchini cakes and the lamb chops with lemon-oregano vinaigrette are top picks.
