With three bakers left, who do you think will be named the winner of Bake Off 2015?

Just three bakers remain to face the final of this year's Great British Bake Off.

After nine weeks of putting the bakers through their paces on everything from frangipane to arlettes, Paul and Mary have got just one week’s worth of treats to munch through before the Bake Off winner of 2015 is named.

The remaining bakers

There have been some absolutely stunning bakes during this year’s competition, and every single contestant proved themselves more than worthy of deserving a place on the show. But there can only be one winner.

Who should take home the trophy this year? After Flora was eliminated in the semi-final, it’ll have be one of these three…

Tamal
Tamal has really picked up the pace over the last couple of weeks, but has only received one Star Baker award, the fewest of the remaining contestants. Surviving this far is testament enough to his talent, but can he pip the others to the post?

Nadiya
Nadiya is storming towards the end of the competition, having accrued three Star Baker awards, two of these picked up in the fortnight previous to the final. Her beautifully decorated creations (the peacock from week nine stands out in my mind) and adventurous flavours have been much praised by the judges.

Ian
Ian performed exceptionally well at the beginning of the competition, picking up three Star Baker awards in a row from weeks two to four. He was in danger last week though for a tart that wasn't a favourite with the judges and a soufflé that didn't quite rise to the occasion.

However, he managed to save himself with the phenomenal concept of a chocolate well, and he has shown amazing potential in other weeks.

Who will win?

Betting on this year's outcome has been suspended, following suspicion that the name of the winner had been leaked. We haven't cheated and looked though, and we're going to stick to our prediction that Ian is going to be crowned Bake Off Champion 2015.
